So I mentioned that my grandma could potentially have Cancer, well I got the news from my parents that my grandma does in fact have Cancer. A type by the name of Ampullary Cancer, ive never heard of it so I had to do some research and reading so I myself could get a better understanding of it all. Its a rare Cancer about 5,000 people are diagnosed with this type of Cancer a year in the US. I dont know all the information yet, my grandma still has to go to see a specialist where they will give us more details as to what we do next for her situation.
I went to visit her today and she was all happy and hand washing some laundry and she even got a hair cut and was all smiles and she didnt look like she had a single worry in the world =). Apparently she doesnt believe the doctors that say she is sick, because she feels great and there isnt a possibility that she can be sick. I for one am happy with her attitude, if you believe your not sick and believe it whole heartedly they say you can cure yourself =) I pray everyday that there will be such a miracle if she really is sick and they didnt make a mistake.
I dont know how the family is going to do with all this trama being done to the family. I really hope that we can all pull together for what ever comes ahead. I hope that my grandma will be able to withstand what ever they are advising. I just pray that everything in the next few weeks goes okay and as smoothly as they can possibly go.
Its weird knowing that my grandma has cancer, who would of thought that a grandma and her grand-daughter would have cancer at the same time.
