La Crete part 2

Okayyy so Aug 14 2010 Matt & Val's BIG day!! Spent all day friday preping for it, everyone pitched in and we got the job done!!
The church looked great and so did the heritage hall for the reception everything looked absolutely awesome!!
And better yet the big day went off without any major hitchs, sure we were late give or take a few min with pictures n the church ceremony otherwise everything went amazing!!
The bride looked stunning on the day of her wedding n she was just glowing n soo excited to be marrying matthew!!
It was lots of fun getting ready with the girls n all rushing to our places n being a bridesmaid is lots of work but in the end its all worth it!!!!
The groom looked very chill n collected as his wife to be was walking towards him =)

Just looking back on how me and Val met, how we became so close n how our friendship grew completely shocks me everytime!! I met val about 2 yrs ago at the stollery hospital we both had some form of cancer n we were both under going chemotherapy.
N 2 yrs later Miss Valerie Wall sends me a text message round 1-2am telling me shes engaged to Matt her bf for about 2 n a half yrs at the age of 18 =) n moments later she asked me to be her bridesmaid!!!! was i expecting that HELLS NOO was i shocked HELLS YES was i excited to do it ABSOLUTLY.
Its amazing how God can work sometimes, we met in the most dismal of situations n a friendship grew n she actually wanted me her cancer sister to be IN HER WEDDING how crazy is that!!!
Did i appreciate the invite absolutely!!!

Im soo happy for them, and i wish them all the happiness the world has to offer n a life full of charished moments!! Vals a great girl n Matt is a great guy n they r soo adorable together, im sure they cant wait to start their new life together in Edmonton.

Ohh right shes moving to edmonton from La crete!!! haha n they r staying with Matts brother who just so happens to live only a few min from my house on the southside of the city how awesome is that!!!
I will however admitt that i think getting married at 18 yrs is pretty young n uncommon but not unheard of lol and moving away from home is huge step especially from a small town to a big city! haha its also weird to think about how Val is younger than me and actually married already how crazyy does that sound!!! But i have faith that Val & Matt are gonna be fine, mind you they may hit some road bumps along the way, but what couple doesnt when moving out on their own n starting their life together TILL DEATH DO US PART!!!!!!
They have lots of family for support n great friends to keep their life chill n at ease =) To me it looks like they have one really big, happy, frustrating, confused, scary ride ahead of them and its gonna be one AMAZING life together =) im soo happy i was able to be a part of their big day, after all i didnt know how much longer ill be here n to be honest im just happy i made the wedding =) it'll be an experience ill never forget, n i know the day they got married is a day they will never soon forget either!!
