Soo its been a very long time since ive written anything and a lot has changed. I have 3 more treatments at found out that i would need a MAJOR lung surgery!!! Its on the Aug 30 2010 and i will be in the hospital for about like 3-5 days and then will take about 6 weeks for a full recovery and will be out for a while. Im pretty scared for the pain and ill have quite a bit of scaring under my right arm. They are gonna be doing some work on my right lung.
Right video assisted thoracsocopy, wedge resection. Possibly right middle lobe thoracotomy.
That would be the name of my surgery that i am getting. ohh boy its coming up really soon!!
But for now im enjoying myself in La Crete Alberta lol 9hrs away from edmonton drove up here with Julie and Issac valeries sister and brother-n-law. So ive been here since Tuesday Aug 10th and the wedding is on Aug 14th!!!
Its a 9hr drive we left edmonton at 2pm n stoped in like every town for washroom breaks n food lol i havent been past slave lake lol and im all the way in La Crete!!! lol we arrived here at 11:30pm the drive was crazyy long!!! wednesday we had a big breakfast n went around town saw some of the area, its a pretty small town but its new to me and i absolutly love it here!!! the Town is beautiful im in love with the houses here!!! saw the hall that the reception is gonna be in and its really nice!! didnt see the church yet but once we decorate it it would be really nice!!! Valerie is busy with getting last min stuff dont for the wedding and Mat right beside the whole time =) they make such a cute couple n i think they will have a long and lasting marriage they may be young but i think they will be okay =)
Being in a bridal party is new for me lol but its a lot of fun, its nice being somewhere new and its very fasinating =) lots and lots and lots of work has to be done and the prep is insane! Its a menonite community so its really different, very concervitive and modest. everything is home made and very personal and this wedding almost everything is home made!!! So much work is gonna be put into this wedding i really hope that everything will turn out the way she wants it too!!!
And i hope i have a good time, i dont know these familes or anyone really n i dont even know my escort but im sure ill have to make friends =)
Today *thursday* woke up helped prep for the 40+ BBQ for the ppl in the wedding tmr at lunch, making taco salad fruit salad baked potatos burgers smokies n hot dogs. I helped with salads n burgers we made 72 patties for the burgers lol again everything is homemade so we made everything from scratch!!!
I also went with Julie and Issac to visit Issacs sister on their farm n they just had puppies born 10 new golden retrievers SOOO adorable n new kittens aswell!!! 3 giant pigs and 1 gorgeous black horse!! they had 5 kids!!! all with gorgeous blue eyes and blond hair they were soo cute!!!
Now just chilling by the kitchen table really!!! antisipating tmr n saturday very very long long days!!! ohh boy!!!
