So today was a very lazy lay back doing nothing kind of day!! Tessa got admitted last night so we hung out today in the teen room and in her room earlier while she was getting her chemo. We also were notified that there was a new girl that had just been diagnosed with Hogkins lymphoma i believe, Tessa has the same thing. Her name is Justina and she is 14 she was just diagnosed yesterday and she was nervous about some things so we talked to her about what its like to be a teen with cancer and that it wasnt soo bad. I think we really helped her she said she wasnt afraid as much.
Now i’ve had my chemo for almost 2 days now and nothing has happened with it really i had tone of energy which normally doesnt happen. But it is now 10pm and my nausea is coming back and my jaw is starting to tingle which means i’m gonna have major jaw pain tomorrow. We got some free tickets to a play done at the citadel called “A Christmas Carol” its supposed to be really good. But heres the thing it starts at 1:30pm and i stop chemo around 11:45am and then i need to make sure i’m feeling okay and drink a tone and try to stand on my own two feet. I dont think i have much to worry about i mean i felt really good for the past few days its just my stomach feeling a bit weird! I hope i get to go to that play tomorrow it should be awsome! But i also just wanna go home and take a nice long warm bath and try to relax and maybe i wont hurt so much. Yeah when your in the hospital my muscles tend to tighten and it doesnt feel so good. The nurses keep bugging you at night so you can take your meds and then you get even more tired, and your vitals also and your like half alive when they are doing this then i have the hardest time getting back to sleep.
I think i need to get a really good nights rest so i can get up in the morning and make that play and then go home and relax for christmas break.
